There’s something soul-soothing about being surrounded by trees, water, and wide open skies. That feeling of peace and groundedness is exactly what inspired my newest workshop, Deeper in the Woods.
This layout featuring Lake Superior is just one of three that will be included in the workshop. I love how the birch bark patterns, forest greens, and rustic textures capture the serenity of standing at the edge of the world’s largest freshwater lake. And that quote? It’s a gentle reminder of why we scrapbook—to hold onto the moments that calm our minds and fill our souls.

From backyard sightings to serene moments in nature, these pages are perfect for documenting feathered friends and peaceful escapes. As I continue creating with Deeper in the Woods, I wanted to share this special layout from our time at Itasca State Park. This is a place where memories are truly made—from climbing on old log railings to standing at the headwaters of the mighty Mississippi. The rich greens, birch textures, and woodgrain accents in this collection perfectly complement the peaceful beauty of the forest.
