There’s something so special about creating Christmas pages that capture those little moments of wonder — the lights, the laughter, and the joy in your children’s eyes. ✨

For this page, I used the Make It Merry Inks & Scrap Journal Bundle, which you can earn FREE with a $150 order (while supplies last). The stencil in this bundle is full of creative possibilities — from festive florals and ornaments to the blocks that add so much boldness to a page!

Supplies:

·      Bright White Cardstock (2 sheets)

·      Cranberry Cardstock (1 sheet)

·      Magic of Christmas Embellishments

·      Magic of Christmas Laser Cut Borders

·      Magic of Christmas Stickers

·      Holiday Classics Stencil

·      Stencil Tape

·      Memento Dew Drops Love Letter Ink

·      Memento Dew Drops Northern Pine Ink

·      Memento Dew Drops Tuxedo Black Ink

·      Blending Brushes

·      Gold Metallic Dual-Tip Pen

·      Black Micro-Tip Pen

Step 1:  Use Bright White cardstock for the base of the layout.  Draw a light pencil line ½” from the bottom of the page and ½” along the left edge of the page.

Step 2:  Tape off the stencil so that only the four squares (with their edge strips) are showing.  Start with the bottom row.  Place the bottom thin edge strip of the squares over the pencil line so that your stenciling stays straight.  The far-right square should be off the edge with only ½” able to be stenciled.  These measurements will create alignment with the squares you are stenciling on the left edge.  Ink your brush generously directly from the Northern Pine ink pad so that you have a rich green color.  Once you have finished the first section, move the stencil over to the left to continue the same process until you have done the full row.  Turn your paper so that the left edge is closest to you.  As you start this row of stenciling, line up the squares so that one is intersecting with the bottom row.  Using the same process, move the stencil until the full row is done.  When finished, remove the tape and clean your stencil.  Dry thoroughly with a microfiber or paper towel before moving on to the next use.

Step 3:  Tape off the stencil around the flower.  You will have to use small pieces of tape to cover the leaves and dots around the flower.  Next put a row of stencil tape over the green squares along the bottom.  This will not remove your ink if you are using low-tack stencil tape.  Place the flower so that only half of it will be inked above the taped line.  Start at the right end and keep moving left with your stencil.  Again, ink your brush generously directly from the Love Letter ink pad so that your color is rich red.  Do not remove the tape yet.

Step 4:  On a piece of Bright White paper, stencil three flowers with Love Letter ink.  Remove the tape and clean and dry your stencil.  Fussy cut the flowers and set aside.

Step 5:  Cut (2) 4-1/8” x 6-1/8” Cranberry photo mats.  Place 3¼” from the bottom and 1” from the right edge leaving 1/8” between the two mats.

Step 6:  Use Northern Pine ink to stencil leaves randomly around the half flowers.  Then add a couple of leaves at the top left of the left photo mat and the bottom right of the right photo mat.  Next, tuck fussy cut flowers under the corners of the photo mats as shown.

Step 7:  Tape off the ornament on the stencil so that only the round portion is showing.  Using Northern Pine ink, stencil an ornament to the right of the flowers at the top left.  Clean stencil and then place over the ornament.  Color the ornament topper with the gold pen.  Tape off the hook for the ornament and use Tuxedo Black ink above the ornament topper.

Step 8:  Locate the vine and berries Laser Cut border.  Place over the right edge of the stenciled squares on the left side of the page.  Add the Jingle Bells embellishment at the top left of the left photo to finish the cluster of inks and embellishments.  Locate two single Jingle Bell embellishments and layer tucking them on top of the tucked flower on the lower right.

Step 9:  Using the Holiday Classic stencil and small end of the gold pen, add dots to the page.
