Challenge Accepted: Reimagining Simple Page Kit #10

ree

Every once in a while, I like to take something familiar and give it a fresh twist. This time, I reimagined Simple Page Kit #10, and it turned into such a fun creative adventure!

During Birthday Week, Creative Memories shared the “Challenge Accepted” cards, and I pulled one that told me to use ink on my page. Well, you know how much I love a good challenge—and even more, how much I love ink!

So I decided to incorporate it in several ways:

  • Splatters across the background for a playful, slightly spooky feel.

  • ✏️ Edging around my mats and layers to give everything extra definition.

  • 🖋️ Journaling line doodles to keep the design cohesive and whimsical.

  • 🎨 Stenciling to add texture and depth in just the right spots.

I also used Sketch #4 from the September Virtual Crop as my foundation, then layered in embellishments, borders, and clusters to make it my own. I love how these creative elements came together — the balance of ink details, bold purples, and festive Halloween touches feels just right.

Here is what the original Simple Page Kit looks like:

There’s something so satisfying about taking a Simple Page Kit and seeing how you can transform it with just a few extra creative touches. Whether it’s playing with ink, mixing sketches, or experimenting with embellishments, it’s a reminder that there’s no one “right” way to scrapbook — just your way. 💜
